Spring cleaning

Spring is here, and winter is in the past. We consider this time of the year a new beginning, and that's one of the reasons we do spring cleaning to make sure our homes are in good shape. We also recommend inspecting for damages with professionals that can save us money and prevent further damage. In Texas and especially Dallas and surrounding areas, we can expect dryness, snow, freezing rain, hail, and lots and lots of wind; these cause frozen pipes, frost, and ice dams that cause damage to your properties. Some of the areas we suggest you check are: 

• Pipes and plumbing
• Gutter systems and roofs
• Foundation and drainage
• Routine inspection 

The rainy season starts; the leaves that winter blew are going to clog the drains, which can cause a flood before it goes to rivers or bays. We can prevent this by placing our yard waste in the appropriate trash cans or bins.
